Yesterday, on February 22, from 22: 00, remote control 104 began receiving reports of a decrease in gas pressure on Taimanov, Ivanilov, Igishev and Azerbayev streets in the Gorny Giant microdistrict of the Medeu district of Almaty.

The emergency dispatch service team arrived in the area and checked the gas pressure at the gas control point No. 1217, where the pressure regulator was reconfigured. In addition, a mechanical blockage was detected and eliminated on the aboveground low-pressure gas pipeline along 8th Guards Street.

It should be noted that, despite the decrease in pressure in the gas pipelines, the supply of natural gas to the population did not stop.
Due to the ban on working at night in accordance with safety regulations, repair work continued at 8:00 a.m. on February 23.
Currently, all malfunctions have been eliminated, and the gas pressure in the area has been restored.
