KazTransGas Aimak JSC, a subsidiary of the national company QazaqGaz, has connected the settlements of Bestam and Telikol of Shieli district to natural gas.

The Shieli district of Kyzylorda region continues to develop actively, providing its residents with access to natural gas. Currently, more than 85 thousand people live in the district in 23 settlements. To date, 10,948 subscribers have been connected to natural gas in the Shieli district, including 9,978 private sector, 681 apartments, 27 production facilities and 262 public utilities.

Now access to natural gas is provided to 2,056 residents of the settlement of Bestam and 1,550 residents of the settlement of Telikol.

Akim of Kyzylorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev, Director of the Kyzylorda production branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC Zhaiyk Alishev, specialists of Intergaz Central Asia JSC and KazTransGas Aimak JSC, as well as veterans and residents of settlements took part in the ceremony of connecting to blue fuel.

“Currently, nine settlements of the Shieli district use blue fuel. Today, residents of the settlements of Bestam and Telikol in the Shieli district also have the opportunity to connect to natural gas. Blue fuel does bring many benefits, but it must be remembered that safety in handling gas must come first,” said Zhaiyk Alishev, Director of the Kyzylorda Production branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC

These efforts to expand access to natural gas in the Shieli district emphasize the importance of improving living conditions for the local population and are an important step towards the development of the district. Connection to natural gas will ensure the environmental cleanliness of the area, as well as save villagers from storing coal reserves and ash removal during the heating season. 

Ybyray Abdilda from the village of Bestam became one of the first to connect to natural gas, and he is grateful to the gas companies.

– Everything works perfectly, without interruptions, it’s warm at home! – says Y. Abd. – We are very pleased with the results of the work of our gas workers. It is convenient, you no longer need to carry coal and firewood. Just press the button, set the temperature, and that’s it, the house is comfortable.
