Representatives of the companies of JSC NC QazaqGaz and Eni signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the official visit of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Italy.

The signed document will allow QazaqGaz and Agip Caspian Sea, a subsidiary of Eni, to expand cooperation in the field of exchange, development and implementation of technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the gas industry.

In addition, collaboration between companies may include joint research, human capital development initiatives, knowledge sharing, and training aimed at sharing best practices related to sustainable development and decarbonization technologies.

On behalf of JSC NC QazaqGaz, the agreement was signed by Bauyrzhan Askarov, Chairman of the Management Board of KazTransGas Aimak JSC, on behalf of Agip Caspian Sea B.V., Luca Vignati, Director of the Upstream sector of Eni S.p.A.
