The Karaganda production branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC notes a significant achievement in increasing the number of natural gas subscribers. On December 25, 2023, 2000 subscribers were connected to natural gas in Karaganda.
Due to the commissioning of the 1st stage 3 of the Karaganda launch complex in November 2023, 2,852 residents received access to natural gas.
To date, 10,655 houses in Karaganda and Ulytau regions have access to natural gas. Of these, 35% are currently connected to the central gas supply, which is 3,673 subscribers.
– Natural gas has much greater advantages compared to other fuels, and its use in our daily lives makes it much easier. Blue fuel does bring many benefits, but it must be remembered that safety in handling gas should come first,” said Bekzat Shuga, Director of the Karaganda production branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC.
Also during the event, the specialists of KazTransGas Aimak JSC called on residents of settlements to use gas sparingly. After all, even with a modern gas boiler and heating system, without proper insulation, the generated heat will partially be spent not on “heating” housing, but “idling”. To avoid heat loss through windows and doors, it is necessary to qualitatively insulate the facade, roof, floor, and install energy-saving double-glazed windows. Thanks to this, it is possible to reduce gas consumption without redesigning the heating system. In addition to housing insulation, the correct selection of boiler equipment will help eliminate the cause of gas overspending.
We also want to pay special attention to the conclusion of an agreement with contractors on the maintenance of gas-using equipment (VDGO), without which it is prohibited to operate natural gas.
