KazTransGas Aimak JSC, a subsidiary of the national company QazaqGaz, connected the settlements of Shalkiya, Kuttykozha, Zhayilma of Zhanakorgan district, as well as Yenbekshi, Zhideliaryk of Shieli district in the Kyzylorda region to natural gas.
Akim of the Kyzylorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev, Director of the Kyzylorda production branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC Zhaiyk Alishev, specialists of Intergas Central Asia JSC, as well as residents of settlements took part in the ceremony of connecting to blue fuel.
Today, more than 85,000 people live in Shieli district in 23 settlements, and about 84,000 people live in 35 settlements in Zhanakorgan district. As of December 1 of this year, 10,405 subscribers were connected to natural gas in Shieli district, and 6,694 subscribers in Zhanakorgan district.
Thanks to the implementation of the project, residents of another 1,286 houses (7,619 residents) of Shieli and Zhanakorgan districts have been given the opportunity to access natural gas.
– Natural gas has much greater advantages compared to other fuels, and its presence in our daily lives greatly facilitates it. Blue fuel does bring a lot of benefits, but it must be remembered that safety in handling gas should come first,” said Zhaiyk Alishev, Director of the KPF of KazTransGas Aimak JSC.
Also during the event, the specialists of KazTransGas Aimak JSC called on residents of settlements to use gas sparingly. After all, even with a modern gas boiler and heating system, without proper insulation, the generated heat will partially be spent not on “heating” housing, but “idling”. To avoid heat loss through windows and doors, it is necessary to qualitatively insulate the facade, roof, floor, and install energy-saving double-glazed windows. This makes it possible to reduce gas consumption without redesigning the heating system. In addition to housing insulation, the correct selection of boiler equipment will help eliminate the cause of gas overspending.
