KazTransGas Aimak JSC, a subsidiary of the national company QazaqGaz, has connected the settlements of Baikonys, Seifullin village, Al-Farabi and Otan of Zhetysai district to natural gas. Now 1,251 residential buildings have access to natural gas.
Zhetysai district of Turkestan region continues to develop actively, providing its residents with access to natural gas. To date, there are 187,384 residents and 113 settlements in the district. It is important to note that 52 of them, which is 58.8% of all settlements in the district, have already been connected to natural gas.
It should also be noted that the connection points in the settlements of Baikonys, Seifullin village, Al-Farabi are serviced by the Zhetysai gas distribution station with a capacity of 25,000 m3/h. And the connection point of the Rodina settlement will be powered by the Kirov gas distribution station with a capacity of 15,000 m3/h. The total length of gas pipelines to settlements is 65.606 km, 3 gas control points and 741 gas control cabinets have also been built.
These efforts to expand access to natural gas in Zhetysu district emphasize the importance of improving living conditions for the local population and are an important step towards the development of the district. Connection to natural gas will ensure the ecological cleanliness of the area, as well as save the villagers from storing coal reserves and ash removal during the heating season.
Shynarbek Montaev from the village of Baikonys was one of the first to connect to natural gas, and he is full of gratitude towards gas workers.
– Everything works perfectly, without interruptions, it’s warm at home! – says Sh.Montaev. – We are very pleased with the results of the work of our gas workers. It is convenient, no longer need to carry coal and firewood. Just press the button, set the temperature, and the house is comfortable.
Another resident of the village of S.Seifullin, Izturgan Rakhmet-Tilla, says that among his neighbors there was a lot of talk about the upcoming gasification.
– Gas heating is very convenient and good, – he says with a smile. – I see more in gasification than just new pipes and natural gas. This is a step forward to a more comfortable and environmentally friendly life for all residents of the village. This is a welcome relief for many families. It is much more efficient and economical to warm your house with gas than in many other ways, – concludes Izturgan Rakhmet-Tilla.
