During the tour of the gas supply facilities of the Atyrau production branch, the General Director of KazTransGas Aimak JSC Bauyrzhan Askarov visited the Makat and Kyzylkugin gas farms. To date, about 210 km of gas pipelines are in operation in Makatsky RGH, and 824 km of gas pipelines in Kyzylkuginsky RGH. About 6 thousand consumers use natural gas in the Makat district, and more than 5 thousand consumers use it in the Kyzylkuginsky district.
The main problem in Atyrau region was a gas pipeline floating on the surface of the water, providing gas supply to the village of Miyaly of the Kyzylkuginsky district. During the working trip, the Director General personally inspected the progress of repair and restoration work on the damaged area.
As a result of the flood near the village of Miyaly , an inter -settlement gas pipeline with a length of up to 150 m surfaced in the spring . The surfaced and exposed gas pipeline, which was under operating pressure, created a danger of an emergency situation. In order to bring the gas pipeline back to normal, the specialists of the Atyrau production branch carried out work on replacing the section of the gas pipeline with the deepening by the HDD method (horizontal directional drilling).
– The main problem in the region was a gas pipeline floating on the surface of the water as a result of spring floods. We have solved this problem. To ensure reliable gas supply to the population, we have taken measures to build a new pipe under water. All work has been completed, the gas infrastructure in Atyrau region is 100% ready for the autumn-winter period,” B. Askarov stressed.
In addition, during the working trip, the head of the company Bauyrzhan Askarov held a meeting with the staff of the Atyrau branch, where production issues were discussed.
Not forgetting about the quality work carried out by the employees, the general director awarded the employees of the branch. The engineer of the sales and gas supply service, Anar Jarlykhanova, as well as the leading specialist of the internal control department, Kamshat Elesheva, were awarded letters of thanks from JSC NC “QazaqGaz”. In addition, for the active and high-quality conduct of the behavioral audit on occupational safety according to the results of the 1st half of 2023, the CEO awarded Oryntai Tlepbergenova, who took first place.
